Thanks Dad! We are already falling behind on summer blockbusters and the summer hasn't even started! But we can count on you to separate the wheat from the chaff (no thanks, Speed Racer). We did make it Iron Man and I thought it was the most consistently entertaining, even thrilling, popcorn movie since I don't know when. Dare I say the original Indy series? I have promised them the new Indiana Jones next time we have a rained out baseball game and since there seem to be several of those a week this yucky spring we shouldn't have to wait long.
In other pop culture developments, I was expecting a comment on the sad cancellation of Aliens in America, the most original, witty, wise sitcom since maybe Sports Night. But maybe you are still mourning the passing and will weigh in with a proper obituary later?
